RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW
Thank you for shopping with HallSilver. Because our products are custom-engraved .999+ fine silver coins and bars made to your individual design specifications, our return and refund policy differs from standard retail policies. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS — ALL SALES FINAL
All HallSilver products are custom-made to order based on your submitted design and your approved design proof. Custom-engraved coins and bars are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun, except in the case of a manufacturing defect or shipping damage (see below).
By approving your design proof, you confirm that the design, text, layout, and specifications are correct. HallSilver is not responsible for errors that were present in an approved design proof.
ORDER CANCELLATION
- Before design proof approval: You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before you approve your design proof. Contact us at support@hallsilver.com.
- After design proof approval but before production begins:Â We will make reasonable efforts to cancel your order. If cancellation is possible, you will receive a full refund. If production has already started, cancellation may not be possible.
- After production has begun:Â Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Custom products are manufactured specifically for you and cannot be resold.
DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from your approved design proof, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@hallsilver.com.
When contacting us, please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs showing the defect or damage
- A description of the issue
We will evaluate the issue and, at our sole discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:
- Replacement:Â We will re-produce and ship a corrected coin or bar at no additional cost to you.
- Full refund:Â We will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- Partial refund:Â If the defect is minor and you choose to keep the item, we may offer a partial refund.
If we request that you return a defective or damaged item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. You will not be charged for return shipping on items that are defective or damaged.
ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR REFUND
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom-engraved coins and bars that match the approved design proof, even if you change your mind about the design
- Items with minor variations in engraving depth, positioning, or finish that are inherent to the laser engraving process (as described in our Terms of Service)
- Orders where the customer provided incorrect or incomplete design files
- Items that have been altered, damaged, or modified after delivery
- Gift cards

Natural silver characteristics: .999+ fine silver may develop toning (gradual surface color change) or milk spots (small white or cloudy patches) over time. These are natural characteristics of high-purity silver, common across the industry, and are not considered manufacturing defects. Claims based on natural toning or milk spots are not eligible for replacement or refund.
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned. Gift cards have no expiration date.
SHIPPING ISSUES
- Lost packages: If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate. If the package cannot be located, we will ship a replacement or issue a refund at our discretion.
- Packages damaged in transit: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging before opening it (if possible) and contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of both the packaging and the item.
REFUND PROCESS
Once we receive your claim and any requested documentation or returned items, we will inspect and evaluate the issue. We will notify you of our decision by email.
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at support@hallsilver.com.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable except in cases of defective or damaged items.
EUROPEAN UNION — 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification, provided that production has not yet begun on your custom item. Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, the EU right of withdrawal does not apply once production has commenced, in accordance with Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU (contracts for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized).
