Every HallSilver piece is made from .999+ fine silver — the highest purity standard for silver bullion. Coins are 1 oz silver rounds (approximately 39mm in diameter). Bars are available in 5 troy oz and 10 troy oz.

Laser-engraved using precision laser technology. This allows for incredible detail — from fine text to portraits to complex logos. The same process is used for both coins and bars.
Yes. Every coin and bar arrives in premium protective packaging suitable for display or gifting.
.999+ fine silver is a natural precious metal, and all fine silver can develop toning (a gradual change in surface color) or milk spots (small white or cloudy patches) over time. This is normal and does not affect the purity, weight, or value of your silver.
Toning is caused by trace sulfur compounds in the air (hydrogen sulfide) reacting with the silver surface. Humidity accelerates the process. Milk spots are an industry-wide occurrence on high-purity silver, related to the minting process — even coins from the Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, and U.S. Mint can develop them.
To keep your coin looking its best:
- Store in the protective capsule it ships in
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Avoid touching the coin surface with bare hands (oils accelerate tarnish)
- Do not store near rubber, wool, or PVC plastics
- Never clean with household chemicals
- Store with silica gel or desiccant packs to reduce humidity exposure
If toning does develop, many collectors consider it part of the coin's character. We do not recommend attempting to clean or polish your coin, as this can cause scratching.
HallSilver coins and bars are custom-engraved keepsakes and are not intended for inclusion in a precious metals IRA. IRA-eligible bullion must meet specific IRS requirements for fineness and approved production that custom-engraved pieces may not satisfy. If you're looking for IRA-eligible silver, we recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor.
About the Design Process
Anything you can imagine — family crests, logos, portraits, photos, military insignia, memorial designs, text, or abstract art. If you can picture it, we can engrave it. To be clear, we can't work with copyrighted materials you don't own or other materials that do not fit our Terms of Service.
JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, SVG — or just a written description. We work with whatever you have.
No problem. Just describe your idea or send a rough sketch, and our professional design team will create a polished, production-ready design for you. Design assistance is included at no extra charge.
You'll get as much as five revisions. We won't engrave until you've approved the final proof.
Every HallSilver coin and bar is laser-engraved on one side with your custom artwork. The reverse side features the maker and mint mark.

Shipping & Delivery
Approximately 2–3 weeks from proof approval. This includes design finalization, engraving, and shipping.
Yes. International orders ship for a flat rate of via USPS Priority Mail International, fully insured with tracking. Please note that customs duties, taxes, or VAT in your country are your responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost. Delivery times for international orders are typically 2-4 weeks after shipment.

Flat rate $11.50 for all US orders, shipped fully insured via USPS Priority Mail.
Returns & Satisfaction
Because each coin and bar is custom-made to your specifications, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. However, if there is a defect or error in engraving, we will replace it at no cost. See our full Refund Policy.
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at support@hallsilver.com. If the engraving doesn't match the approved proof, we'll make it right.
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before approving your design proof. After proof approval and once production has begun, cancellation may not be possible.
